Labyrinthus' devlog 1 — about version 1.00 & ANNOUNCEMENT
Salvete omnes!
A few days ago I uploaded the first version of Labyrinthus, a survival minigame based upon the ancient Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. The game was simple and the results were satisfying enough.
However, the idea which founded the game, i. e. creating games in Latin for the Latin-speaking community, has soon fueled a greater interest in me. That's why in the following days I will be testing and finally uploading a major update to the game. I'm planning on changing the main menu image, a bit of the mechanics, the music; I'm also thinking about adding a new level... AND A NEW GAME!
This project will therefore become an expansion pack including the game Labyrinthus, with improved changes and a new level, as well as a new game, which doesn't bear any title yet, exploring the events of the myth from the perspective of one of Labyrinthus' main characters... Ariadne! The daughter of Minos plays an important role in saving Theseus' life and escaping from the island of Crete, so let's live it!
Here you have some screenshots from the game's design:
